My daughter planned a short trip for the family to Bangkok, 10 August - 13 August 2024. My son could not join us due to his work commitment. She bought three SIA Business Class air tickets using her SIA Krisflyer miles and credit card to purchase the discounted air tickets. This was our 1st experience travelling on SIA Business Class ( we had traveled on Nippon Airway Business Class before). SIA Business Class travelers can enjoy free meal in the Krisflyer lounge before departure. Business Class travelers also enjoy pirority boarding. We pre-ordered our meal online before departure. It was quite an experience.
Our stay in Bangkok was very relax. We went for the local meal and shopping. Our accommodation was the Anantara Siam Hotel. We were upgraded to a single suite room for 3 persons with breakfast upon checked in. It was my daughter's credit card privilege. The room entitlement also came with late check out and free lounge facility.

We had breakfast in the hotel cafe before taking the BTS (MRT) to the Siam Center. Lunch was at the restaurant near Siam Center. We ordered Grab food dinner delivery and enjoyed our dinner in our hotel room.

Our return flight to Singapore was SQ 719 departing at 22:15 ( Bangkok is 1hr behind Singapore). Our schedule arrival in Singapore was 00:35, 14 August 2024 ( SG time).
We arranged with the hotel for late check out at 4.00pm . We also booked the airport transport via Klook app. The car will be at our hotel at 4.15pm.
We had the famous stewed duct for lunch at the popular food street, before returning to our hotel to check out.
It was passed mid night when the plane touched down Changi Airport. I took a premium taxi home. I paid $38 for the ride. It was a comfortable ride home.
